Gracias por su interés en la maternidad espiritual de los sacerdotes. Nos sentimos honrados, agradecidos y emocionados por ofrecer un programa de apoyo a nuestros sacerdotes locales. Ya que estamos comenzando esta jornada, esperamos que se una a nosotros con espíritu de oración y deseo de adoptar un hijo sacerdote.
Commitments/Compromisos
Spiritual mothers make 5 promises -- that they will:
pray for their priest-son at least three times a day
offer a weekly Holy Hour of Adoration for him
keep his identity confidential
receive the sacrament of reconciliation frequently
a promise, as in all mother-son relationships, is that this is a lifelong commitment
Las madres espirituales hacen cinco promesas:
•Rezar por su Hijo-Sacerdote al menos tres veces al día
•Ofrecerle una Hora Santa de Adoración semanal
•Mantener su identidad confidencial
•Recibir el sacramento de la reconciliación con frecuencia

Mission Statement
The mission of the Spiritual Motherhood for Priest Program is the spiritual adoption of Priest-Sons by women who, following the example of and united with the Blessed Mother Mary, pray for them daily.
The women, inspired by their love of God, the Church and the Priesthood, offer their prayer lives for the sanctification of Priests, uniting themselves with the Blessed Virgin Mother by spiritually adopting a Priest-son. This commitment is anonymous. At the core of the program is Our Blessed Mother, whose example of obedience, humility, patience and love we seek to imitate.
Priests are the image and likeness of God, the visible ambassadors who carry within themselves the difficult task of being “In Persona Christi”. The priesthood is essential to our faith, for it is priests who administer the Sacraments that sustain us as Catholics. Through the Sacraments, priests are God’s representatives on Earth, the true living presence of Christ among us. Though they are humans in the earthly world, priests have overwhelming responsibilities. Through prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, sacrifices and anonymity, women join ourselves spiritually to their adopted Priest-sons to support their vocation and ultimately to serve God and His Kingdom. Participation in this program is a gift of the Holy Spirit and Our Blessed Mother.
Estado de la Mision
La misión del Programa de Maternidad Espiritual para Sacerdotes es la adopción espiritual de Hijos-Sacerdotes por parte de mujeres que, siguiendo el ejemplo y unidas a la Santísima Madre María, oran por ellos diariamente. Las mujeres, inspiradas por su amor a Dios, a la Iglesia y al Sacerdocio, ofrecen su vida de oración por la santificación de los Sacerdotes, uniéndose a la Santísima Virgen Madre adoptando espiritualmente un Sacerdote-hijo. Este compromiso es anónimo. En el centro del programa está Nuestra Santísima Madre, cuyo ejemplo de obediencia, humildad, paciencia y amor, buscamos imitar. Los sacerdotes son imagen y semejanza de Dios, los embajadores visibles que llevan dentro de sí, la difícil tarea de ser “In Persona Christi”. El sacerdocio es esencial para nuestra fe, porque son los sacerdotes quienes administran los sacramentos los que nos sostienen como católicos. A través de los sacramentos, los sacerdotes son los representantes de Dios en la Tierra, la verdadera presencia viva de Cristo entre nosotros. Aunque son humanos en el mundo terrenal, los sacerdotes tienen responsabilidades abrumadoras. A través de la oración, la Adoración Eucarística, los sacrificios y el anonimato, las mujeres se unen espiritualmente a sus HijosSacerdotes para apoyar su vocación y, en última instancia, para servir a Dios y Su Reino. La participación en el programa es un don del Espíritu Santo y de Nuestra Santísima Madre.
The vocation to be a spiritual mother for priests is largely unknown, scarcely understood, and, consequently, rarely lived, notwithstanding its fundamental importance. It is a vocation that is frequently hidden, invisible to the naked eye, but meant to transmit spiritual life. Pope John Paul II was so convinced of its importance that he established a cloistered convent in the Vatican where nuns would pray for the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff.

La vocación a ser madre espiritual para los sacerdotes es demasiado poco conocida, escasamente comprendida y, por tanto, poco vivida a pesar de su vital y fundamental importancia. Esta vocación a menudo está escondida, invisible al ojo humano, pero apunta a transmitir vida espiritual.
